During the Five Years Later there were new, young Legionnaires introduced into the story. They eventually got their own series, Legionnaires, illustrated by an up-and-coming artist named Chris Sprouse. He went on to become very well known for illustrating and co-creating Tom Strong (with Alan Moore.) My personal favorite Chris Sprouse story was in Secret Origins #47, "The Secret Origin of Chemical King" (story by Robert L. Fleming).

Chris currently has a two-year exclusive contract with DC. Some of his recent work can be found in Multiversity #2, Batman '66 #9, and in Sensation Comics (the digital Wonder Woman "book").
