New Years' Eve 2015

So here it is another year ending.....

Hard to believe another year has gone by. We've experienced some great highs in 2015, but we have had a few terrible lows, as well.

As a page The Legion of Super-Bloggers has managed to fill the interweb with some superb Legion content. Not to necessarily toot our own horn, but I think we did some cool things. We discussed The Death of Superboy story-line in detail, started reviewing the Legion cartoon, started our popular Hot or Not series, and completed our review of the entire 5YL Legion book, to name just a few high-lights. Also, we recently posted our 550th post!
So not only are we doing some fun articles, but we are doing them consistently! As editor I am incredibly proud of our Bloggers.

However, our happiness at this time is tempered by several personal losses. Our Blog specifically lost a great Legionnaire this year, and that makes all of our space a little more cold and dark.

Several of us had the incredible good fortune to actually meet David Sopko before he left us.....but even those of us Bloggers who hadn't, knew him as a friendly and interesting cyber-friend. Fly free, David....we will miss you....
As we head metaphorically into the future let's take a moment to count our blessings. Then go find someone to kiss tonight. Spread the love. Share the joy. Be the light you want to see in others.

That is our mantra here at The Legion of Super-Bloggers. We are a group of fans who LOVE the Legion and want to share that love with others. In 2016 we are planning on doing more cool things, such as starting on The Threeboot series. We here at The Legion of Super-Bloggers are happy you survived 2015, and we hope to see you back in 2016. We appreciate you spending some of your precious time with us!

So drink responsibly. Don't take the Legion Cruiser if you have had any Kono Juice. Remember, you *don't* have a portable force-field belt.

We look forward to seeing you here again IN THE FUTURE!

Happy New Year!

  1. I always loved Brainy kissing Invisible Kid. LOL I love that issue! The whole story was cool, with Superboy and Darkseid. I reread it every couple of years. I think the whole Abnett/Lanning run should be collected as its own series. I loved it. And I love the Legion and this blog. I'm glad I stumbled on it. Happy New Year and keep the great posts coming.

  2. Where did that Legion of Superheroes #1 cover come from? It perplexes and fascinates me on quite a few levels.
